Description of the workshop
Due to popular demand, I am delighted to announce a level 2 Encaustic Painting workshop On Saturday 30th March in my studio in East Clare, located on the shores of Lough Derg.
This particular workshop is suitable for artists or art enthusiasts who already did my introduction to encaustic painting workshop and who want to know more. The class will recap on what we did already and expand your understanding of encaustic, help you refine your work by gaining more control over the medium and help you move your encaustic painting to a new level. We will work with the enchanting colored shellac burn, work in larger format and use more encaustic techniques, including various drawing techniques, image transfer, working with pigments sticks, collage, inscribing and scraping techniques. You will leave with a printout containing all the information you need as well as a list of suppliers.
